Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 April 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains how ClientDone uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at clientdone.com and inside the Service. Read this policy together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They let the website remember actions or preferences over time. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and web beacons. In this policy we use "cookies" to cover all of these.

2. What we use and why

We use a small number of first-party cookies. We group them into the categories below.

CategoryPurposeConsent needed
Strictly necessaryKeep you signed in, remember your session, protect against CSRF and abuse, load the Service correctly.No. These cannot be turned off, or the Service will not work.
FunctionalRemember non-essential preferences such as the last tab you had open, collapsed/expanded panels, dismissed banners. No, where strictly local and not cross-site.
Analytics (first-party, aggregated)Understand how the Service and the marketing website are used, in aggregate. We do not use third-party advertising analytics inside the Service.Yes (where required by law).

We do not use advertising cookies or sell any data to data brokers. We do not operate a cross-site retargeting or remarketing pixel in the Service.

3. Sub-processor cookies

A small number of cookies are set by our Sub-processors to run features you use. Examples:

  • Supabase sets authentication cookies so we can keep you signed in.
  • Stripe sets cookies during checkout to prevent fraud when you collect payments.
  • Vercel may set cookies for routing and cache behavior.

These Sub-processors have their own cookie policies, linked from their websites.

4. Managing cookies

  • When you first visit our marketing website, you will see a consent banner. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your choice.
  • You can withdraw or change consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser and re-visiting the site, or by using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies entirely. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the Service from working.

5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because we do not sell or "share" personal information, this is informational. We do not otherwise respond to Do Not Track headers.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in cookies we use or in applicable law. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date and, where required, re-prompted through the consent banner.
